In preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday, JBT Automated Systems community came together to make a difference to those in need. Our employees participated in a food drive to support our local food bank partner: New Britain Food Pantry. The food pantry is part of the Bucks County Opportunity Council’s network and supports 750-800 families.
“The outreach by our employees was especially touching during this holiday season and couldn’t have come at a better time. The sheer magnitude of outreach and care was amazing.” said Michael Camut, Sustainability Representative at JBT Automated Systems.
We want to give a special thank you to JBT’s Ann Sonntag, Procurement Supervisor, for spearheading this effort. Her dedication and leadership helped us rally support and deliver much-needed food and supplies to the community.
Also, a BIG “Thank You” to everyone who participated and donated. Your generosity truly makes a difference.
We also extend our gratitude to the New Britain Food Pantry for the incredible work they do every day. This year has been challenging for many, and their commitment to helping others is inspiring.
When we spread kindness, it really highlights our values and the importance of community to everyone. From all of us at JBT Automated Systems, we wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving and upcoming holiday season.
The New Britain Food Pantry accepts donations Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. If you would like to donate, please reach out directly to the pantry to confirm donation times and drop-offs.
